POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to after a man was left “seriously injured” after an incident at a Colchester nightclub.
A man in his 40s was struck to the head and sustained sat Rubix nightclub in Crouch Street, Colchester, at around 12.30am on Saturday, April 27.
The force has now released an image of a woman it would like to speak with in connection to the assault.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We want to speak to the woman pictured in connection with the incident.
“We believe she was wearing a distinctive full-length hooded gilet.
“If you have any information then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/66000/24.”

This appeal was first published earlier this month by Essex Police.
A spokesman for the force said at the time: "The nightclub was busy and we’d like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault taking place on the dancefloor."
