A POLICE appeal has been launched as part of an ongoing probe into a crash near Colchester.
Last Wednesday, a grey Mini Cooper and a silver Jaguar XF collided in Great Bentley Road shortly after 6.30am.
The Gazette did report on a crash in the road on May 22 but details of the vehicles involved had not been made public until now.
An appeal has been launched by the force, which is hoping witnesses will come forward.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us," a spokesman said.
“Please quote incident 151 of May 22.”
