MOTORISTS are still experiencing delays on a busy Essex road after a lorry is partially blocking traffic.
Traffic control previously reported that an obstruction is partially blocking a section of the A12 Southbound just after junction 28 near Colchester United football ground, at 1.32pm.
Now, over two hours later, the obstruction is still causing problems for drivers using the A12 Southbound in that area.
Congestion and slow-moving traffic is expected all the way back to the A120’s junction 29 at this moment in time.
A spokesman for Essex Police has confirmed that the obstruction is a "lorry" that has broken down.
They said: "Traffic is moving, but we appreciate slowly.
"We are at the scene and appreciate people’s patience while the situation is resolved."
