Traffic is building up on a major road near Colchester following a crash earlier today.
Slow traffic has been reported on the A12 southbound before junction 26 at the Eight Ash Green and Tollgate interchange.
The crash was first reported shortly after 7am, but due to the construction works going on in the area, traffic has not cleared up.
The A12 resurface project between Marks Tey and Stanway started in October 2022 and should have finished in February this year, but delays have pushed the completion back to summer 2024.
