JAYDEN Fevrier has left Colchester United and joined League One new boys Stockport County for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Hatters, with the option of a further year.
Fevrier links up at Stockport with his former Colchester team-mate Jay Mingi, who left the U's and joined the League Two champions last month.

Colchester United sporting director Dmitri Halajko told the club's website: "First of all, congratulations to Jayden for his move - it's an opportunity for him at a higher level, a level that we know he can excel in.
"We obviously would like to keep our better players for a bit longer, but we can't stand in their way when these opportunities arise - especially when the deal is right for both clubs and the player himself.
"We wish Jayden the best of luck and everyone at Colchester United will be watching his progress with pride and in the knowledge that it was the U's that gave him a great start in first team football."

Fevrier was one of Colchester's top players in the 2023-24 campaign, with his exciting performances lighting up what was otherwise a largely disappointing season for the club.
He featured in all but two of Colchester’s matches in League Two and started 40 of them, in what was his first full season of competitive league football.

Fevrier scooped the club’s Young Player of the Year award, along with the Hospital Radio Colchester Player of the Year accolade.
He signed a contract extension with the U’s last year which was due to keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2025.
But he has now departed Colchester for an undisclosed fee.
