A SPEED limit restriction is coming to a road in north Essex.
The 40mph speed restriction will be in the A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring will be introduced, from its junction with Carpenters Lane to its junction with Elmstead Road approximately 715m in both directions.
This is scheduled from July 2 for 547 days.
The speed restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while highway improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Bures Road, White Colne in the District of Braintree, will be closed from its junction with Colchester Road to its junction with Boley Road for approximately 1335m on July 2 for three days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial reinstatement works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
Tey Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, will be closed from its junction with Lowefields to its junction with America Road approximately 1740m.
It will be closed from July 1 for three days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Finchingfield Road, Stambourne in the District of Braintree, will be closed from the junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 3735m in a north easterly direction.
The closure will take place on June 18 for four days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Stones Green Road, Tendring, in the District of Tendring, will shut from a point approximately 510m east of its junction with Heath Road for approximately 355m in a north easterly direction.
It will be closed from July 1 for four days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fire hydrant replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Inworth Road, Feering/Kelvedon Road, Inworth in the District of Braintree/City of Colchester will shut from the junction with Feering Hill to the junction with Wind Mill Hill a distance of approximately 2130m.
It will be closed from July 2 for three days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully and frame replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Hawkendon Road, Clacton, in the District of Tendring, will close from its junction with Risby Close for approximately 115m in a south easterly direction.
It will be closed from July 5 for 12 days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
Colchester Road, Holland-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, will shut from its junction with Ipswich Road to its junction with Windermere Road approximately 240m.
It will be closed from June 20 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
