COLCHESTER United have announced that they will face League One side Peterborough United in a pre-season friendly next month.
The U's will host Darren Ferguson's Posh side, who reached last season's play-offs, at the JobServe Community Stadium on July 27, kick-off 3pm.

The two teams also met in a friendly at the Community Stadium last summer, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
Noah Chilvers was on target for Colchester, from the penalty spot.
It will be another chance for Danny Cowley to assess his Colchester squad ahead of the big kick-off, on August 10.
On the same day, Colchester will send an XI to to play National League South side Aveley.
Colchester will also visit Pitching In Isthmian League division north side Maldon and Tiptree (July 13) and host League One club Cambridge United (August 3), as part of their pre-season fixture schedule.
