Pam Cox, a local councillor, is your Labour candidate for Colchester.

Labour firmly believes that after 14 years of the Conservatives, many people here feel less secure and worse off. They believe it’s time for change. On Thursday 4th July you will decide who becomes our next MP. Labour believes that here in Colchester, the choice will be between Conservative and Labour.

If you choose Pam, she will work hard to bring change to Colchester.

These are Pam’s pledges:

1.         A fresh start with secure jobs, fair pay and new skills

2.         A local doctor and dentist when you need it

3.         Safer, cleaner streets and a crackdown on crime

4.         Affordable, warm and sustainable homes

5.         A vibrant city centre that celebrates our heritage and protects our green spaces

Pam is standing to be your MP because she believes everyone in Colchester should have a fair chance in life. Labour has long term plans to make that happen – national ‘missions’ to revive economic growth, get the NHS back on its feet, take back our streets from anti-social behaviour, switch on clean energy to cut people’s bills and open opportunity to all children, whatever their background.

We know Colchester needs more investment, stronger public services and a more dynamic economy. Pam will bring her knowledge of Colchester; her experience of working with the council, businesses, the garrison and government departments; and her energy and enthusiasm to the challenge. On 4th July, you can make a positive choice for change.

Pam wants to hear from you. She knows that you have your own ideas about what needs to change in Colchester. You can tell her at: survey.labour.org.uk/Colchester

Colchester has a rich history and deserves a bright future. It’s time for change. This time, vote Labour.
