A CHARITY is bringing back a popular fundraising event for the fourth and final time.
Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity is inviting families to take part in its returning Welly Walk event at Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park.
Participants can enjoy a 5km walk, free entry to the wildlife park and rare breeds farm, and a family fun day.
The event will take place on July 13 and will double as a celebration of the end of the Children’s Appeal which is supporting the transformation of the children’s department at Ipswich Hospital.
Ambassador of the Children’s Appeal, Jimmy Doherty, said: "The Welly Walk is the perfect way to bring your family together and enjoy the outdoors whilst supporting a really worthwhile project.
"We look forward to welcoming walkers into the park afterwards so that they can enjoy an opportunity like no other to visit our farm."
Children's matron at Ipswich Hospital, Kate Stockton, said: "We are really looking forward to the Welly Walk and having the opportunity to thank all of our supporters.
"I would encourage everyone to join us at the Welly Walk and help end the Children’s Appeal with a big celebration."
