A village will see its post office reopen under new management with daily opening hours.
Earls Colne Post Office will be reopened in High Street with postal services returning on July 25 at 1pm.
The village post office had been closed in December 2023 after the resignation of the postmaster.
From July onwards, the office will be open Monday to Sunday between 8.30am and 5.30pm, providing 54 hours of service a week to customers.
Services include bill payments, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.
Additionally, customers of main UK banks will be able to access their accounts at the reopened branch.
Wendy Hamilton, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to be restoring Post Office services to Earls Colne as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
“I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service.”
