A missing child was found within three minutes after being reported missing at Highwoods Country Park.
Police officers of Colchester's Rural Engagement Team were on patrol when the child was reported missing.
Thankfully, it was found by a member of the public soon after the report was made and reunited with its group.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Thank you to the member of the public who saw the child and stopped them, and the Colchester City Park Rangers.
"The Rural Engagement Team carry out patrols in country parks across Essex, working with park rangers and local councils and wildlife charities to keep our rural spaces safe and open for everyone."
