A new "state-of-the-art" £25 million industrial site in Ardleigh is nearing completion.
Developed by MCR Property Group, Systematic Business Park will provide industrial space across 5.47 acres.
Containing 30 high-specification units, the site is designed to meet the increasing demand from rapidly growing sectors such as e-commerce, freight and transport.
Located on Old Ipswich Road, the industrial park is conveniently positioned just off Junction 29 of the busy A12.
The units offer a range in size from 1,700 to 4,867 sq ft, providing businesses the opportunity to adapt the space to fit their needs.
Harry Ladds, asset manager at MCR Property Group, said: "We're really pleased to see this fantastic scheme approach completion.
"We knew that there was a definite need for a prime industrial site in this specific area."
"Systematic Business Park offers a new proposition for businesses in Colchester in terms of central location, quality, versatility and scale.
"We are now able to open up the site with completed units available to view, allowing first time tenants the opportunity to secure a space that’s perfect for them and configure a new design and layout from a clean template.
"Interest and uptake has been strong form the outset and several of the units have already been reserved off-plan."
For Sam Henderson, Head of Transactions at MCR Property Group's Mayfair office, the new site encapsulates the company's future approach.
He added: "Systematic epitomises the scale, location and profile of industrial development we will continue to deliver throughout the UK."
