COLCHESTER United have signed former Leyton Orient and Swindon Town defender Rob Hunt.
The U's have made the right-back their fifth signing of the summer, after he joined on a two-year deal.
Hunt, who was born in Dagenham, was available after he was released by Orient at the end of last season, following the expiry of his contract.

The 28-year-old was part of their title-winning team that won promotion to League One, in the 2022-23 season.
Hunt told the U's website: “I’m delighted to get the deal over the line and get going on the first day of pre-season.
“There were a few phone calls and then I met Danny and Nicky and they were two positive people.

“We had a good chat about football and went through a presentation. It was good to see and I’m delighted to be working with them.”
Hunt started his career at Brighton and Hove Albion and came through the academy there before spending three years as a professional, at the West Sussex club.
He left the Seagulls n 2017 and joined Oldham Athletic, where he was a regular for two seasons before leaving to join Swindon Town.
Hunt made more than 100 appearances for the Robins over a three-year period before joining Leyton Orient in the summer of 2022.
He helped the O's gain promotion and clocked up more than 70 appearances for the League One side, before leaving this summer.
Orient boss Richie Wellens paid tribute to the efforts of both Hunt and Adam Thompson, following their departure from Brisbane Road.
He said: “Hunty and Thommo are two fantastic, experienced professionals who I have no doubt will make great additions to other clubs this summer and beyond."
Orient director of Football Martin Ling added: “Rob Hunt’s and Adam Thompson’s contributions to our League Two title winning season, on and off the pitch, will never be underestimated and we will always be grateful to them for that."
