RESURFACING works on Colchester's Colne Bank Avenue have now finished .
The old surface was removed and a new surface was laid.
The roadworks began last week, with drivers being told to take extra care and observe signs if driving in the area.
A spokesman for Essex Highways said: "Thank you for your patience whilst we carried out these works."
