COLCHESTER United will visit Championship club Millwall as part of their preparations for the forthcoming League Two season.
Danny Cowley's side will take on the Lions in a behind-closed-doors friendly at The Den on Tuesday, July 30.
Colchester have already lined up several other friendlies, as they gear up for the new campaign.
The U's are also playing Maldon and Tiptree (away, July 13), Wycombe Wanderers (away, behind closed doors, July 20), Peterborough United (home, July 27), Aveley (away, Colchester United XI, July 27) and Cambridge United (home, August 3).
Colchester have confirmed that their Carabao Cup first-round tie against League One side Reading will take place at the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday, August 13.
The tie will kick-off at 7.45pm.
It will be Colchester's first competitive home game of the new season.
