Traffic is still slow at a Stanway roundabout following a medical incident.
Emergency services attended an incident at the roundabout connecting Church Lane and Warren Lane this morning.
According to AA Traffic News, the incident was first reported at around 8.30am.
The road has since reopened, but traffic remains slow in the area.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 8.30am to attend to a medical emergency on Villa Road in Stanway, Colchester.
“Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. One patient, an adult male, was transported by road ambulance to the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre for further care.”
