ONE person has been sent to hospital following a road traffic collision in Colchester this morning, the ambulance service has confirmed.
Two vehicles collided in Shrub End Road Westbound near Plume Avenue this morning, leading to one woman being sent to hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just before 6.45am with reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Shrub End Road and Plume Avenue in Colchester involving two vehicles.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult female, was transported to Colchester Hospital for further care.”
The police have also been contacted to comment.
