COLCHESTER Zoo has announced the names of the two Humboldt penguin chicks who were born on April 2 this year.
The two fledglings, who are both confirmed as female, have been named Salsa and Taco.
Colchester Zoo thanked everyone who helped them with choosing the names of the adorable penguins.
The birth of the two penguins was good news for the conservation of the species, which is listed as 'vulnerable' on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's red list of endangered species.
