"My relationship with the gaffer goes back a long way to when I was a young boy at West Ham and I’ve played here a number of times before.
"I really like the feel of the club.
"It’s a great surface here and suits my style of play and I’m looking forward to kicking a ball now and getting around the changing room with the boys."
Dallison made 65 appearances for Colchester after joining them from Crawley Town in January 2022, for an undisclosed fee.
The centre-back signed his first professional contract at Brighton and Hove Albion and had loan spells at the likes of Braintree Town, Cambridge United and Accrington Stanley.
Dallison left Brighton to join Scottish Championship side Falkirk in 2018 before signing for Crawley, the following year.
He spent two and a half years at Colchester and is now looking forward to a fresh challenge, at Ebbsleet.
