AN 'obstruction in the road' is causing delays down the A12 going towards Colchester.
The A12 southbound is suffering from slow traffic from Junction 30 at Upper Street, Stratford St Mary, to the Junction 29 Langham turn-off and Shell services.
It was first reported at 8.29am on the AA traffic news website.
Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
