A TEENAGER has been charged with drugs offences after being arrested in Colchester.
Officers arrested the youth in Ipswich Road on Monday while they were conducting a routine patrol to prevent antisocial behaviour, robbery and retail crime.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, and one charge of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He appeared before magistrates in Southend today.
He did not make any pleas and is next due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Friday.
