With summer upon us and crops standing tall, farmers have created entertainment by growing mazes in their crops.
Farmer John’s Maize Maze is open for all ages to come and explore.
There is a mini maze for the little ones and a mega maze for the more adventurous.
The farm will have a straw pyramid, a giant inflatable tractor, mini ride-on tractors and more.
There will also be refreshments available and a picnic area.
The Maize Maze will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm.
It runs from July 18 to September 1, making it the perfect summer holidays activity.
The activity costs £5 per child, £7 per adult, with under 2s going free.
Both cash and card are accepted and there is no booking required.
The farm, situated in Boydland Farm, Old London Road, Capel St Mary, is just a 20-minute drive from Colchester.
Onsite parking is free, with toilets with disabled access and baby change facilities on site.
Farmer John’s farm is also known for its popular Pumpkin Patch, which will be open every weekend in October and all of half term week.
The giant inflatable tractor and straw pyramid will make a reappearance.
