A TEENAGE boy suffered multiple stab wounds after being the victim of a serious assault.
Police were called to Hatcher Crescent, in Colchester, at around 6.15pm last Monday, July 22, following reports of a “boy being assaulted”.
After officers spoke to witnesses, it was believed five men assaulted a teenager before leaving the scene in a silver Vauxhall Astra.
The teenager, 17, was taken to hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
Police said his injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
Detectives are appealing for the public’s help with the investigation.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "If you have any dashcam or CCTV footage from around that area at the time or witnessed anything which could help with the investigation, please contact us.
