A THIEF has been sentenced after he stole cat food belonging to Jollyes pet shop.
Thomas Wroe took four bags of cat food worth a total of £163 from the pet retailer in Turner Road, Colchester, on Monday, February 26.
Last month magistrates in Chelmsford considered the case against Wroe, who lives at a Holiday Inn Express in Birchwood Road.
After Wroe, 38, admitted one charge of theft, magistrates ordered him to pay £122 in compensation and a fine of £200.
He was also required to pay £165 in prosecution and victim surcharge costs.
