A REPEAT offender who refused to assist police with a road traffic investigation has been fined and banned from driving.
Abigail Mitchell was required by the chief officer of South Wales Police to provide information about a BMW driver following an incident in Pontypridd, near Cardiff, in January this year.
Mitchell, 39, did not co-operate with requests from police and magistrates in Cardiff considered the case in July.
After finding Mitchell guilty in absence, officials ordered her to pay £1,014 and disqualified her from driving for six months, citing her as a repeat offender.
Mitchell, of Hamilton Place, Colchester, must pay the fine by Thursday, August 15.
