A popular destination for train enthusiasts is bringing back an iconic locomotive and his friends.
The East Anglian Railway Museum’s Day Out with Thomas is coming back due to popular demand.
The most famous tank engine is steaming in with the Bubble Tour, where train lovers of all ages can get on board for a real train ride with Thomas, enjoy games, live entertainment and family activities.
This year’s Easter dates sold out fast, so the museum is advising people to book tickets in advance.
Over the bank holiday weekend, the main activities include train rides on full-size trains and miniature versions, and you can meet the Fat Controller and Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty and Dusty.
Other activities include the re-enactments of classic Thomas stories, giveaways and fun opportunities with Thomas and his friends.
A special Thomas shop will be open all weekend, selling a wide range of merchandise, including toys, clothes and bags.
The Day Out with Thomas event has been a fan favourite for the museum over the past 25 years.
They take place four times a year at Easter, the August bank holiday, at the end of October and before Christmas.
Tickets for the August 24-26 event can be booked online.
During the event, the Platform Two Cafe will be only available to ticket holders for the Day Out with Thomas.
