ANTHONY Wordsworth scored a late winner as MALDON AND TIPTREE beat neighbours HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS 1-0 to progress to the FA Trophy second qualifying round.
Wordsworth volleyed home the Jammers' all-important goal with only a few minutes remaining at Scraley Road, after Lewis Watson's cross had picked him out.

WITHAM TOWN bowed out after losing 3-2 at Brentwood Town, their first defeat of the season.
Witham had led 2-1 thanks to goals from Liam Whipps and Josh Osude but succumbed to defeat.
