UPDATED: Essex Police are no longer looking to identify a man with a distinctive leg tattoo who they wanted to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Colchester.
Essex Police are investigating reports of an assault at about 1.55am on Saturday 27 July in Colchester High Street.
The man concerned attended a police station and is assisting the police with their enquiries.
