MALDON and Tiptree have promised to make their rearranged game with Brightlingsea Regent free of charge for everyone after last night's match between the two sides was abandoned due to a floodlight failure.
The Jammers had taken the lead in the Pitching In Isthmian League division north clash thanks to Matthew Price's 22nd-minute strike when the lights went out, a few minutes later.
A 15-minute cooling off period for the lights took place after they went out, in an attempt for the match to restart.
