TRAINS running towards Liverpool Street are delayed due to a fault.
Greater Anglia has announced some trains have been delayed due to a train fault with services which go through Shenfield.
A Greater Anglia spokesman said: "Railway staff have reported a fault with the train and the driver is currently undertaking a visual check of the train.
"Due to a fault on a freight train at Shenfield, some lines are blocked. Train services running through this station may be delayed.
"Disruption is expected until further notice."
Services running on the following routes are subject to delays:
- Liverpool Street - Braintree
- Liverpool Street - Clacton-On-Sea
- Liverpool Street - Southend Victoria
- Liverpool Street - Ipswich
- Liverpool Street - Norwich
The Clacton service runs through Colchester Station.
