VISITORS to Lower Castle Park were taken back in time with a magnificent display of classic vehicles from a bygone age as part of an annual charity event.
The Essex Classic Vehicle Show saw people bringing their cars from far and wide.
More than 200 unique and historical cars came to Castle Park with vehicles from an old school Fiat 500 from 1957 to a Ford Consul in a distinctive orange colour making an appearance.
This was the ninth year of the Essex Classic Vehicle Show, with all profits going to Headway Essex.
The money goes towards the charity's continued support of people who have acquired brain injuries.
The family-friendly event, had a variety of different stalls and entertainment, including music and a performance from parkour practitioners Team Kinetix.
The event hosted in Lower Castle Park, saw the cars compete in a number of different categories such as vehicle of the show, modern classics and British cars.
It allowed visitors to get a look up close at some rare vehicles - perfect for car enthusiasts.
