A12 traffic has slowed to a standstill yet again as road workers rush to repair a pothole on the northbound carriageway.
Updates from the AA and Essex Highways live traffic maps show drivers are facing severe delays after Junction 22 near Witham because emergency repairs are being carried out.
Currently, only one lane is in operation which is resulting in huge tailbacks back as far as Danbury.
