ITV1 and ITV2 will disappear from certain TV boxes across the UK this week due a satellite service upgrade.
The broadcaster has completed an "all-HD" upgrade for satellite viewers, meaning that SD on satellite will no longer be available as of October (2024).
These ITV changes follow on from the BBC's closure of all satellite SD services earlier this year.

ITV1 and ITV2 to disappear from TV boxes - see those affected
As a result of the upgrade, those with an old SD-only satellite set-top box will be unable to watch ITV1 and ITV2 from October.
So anyone with an old SD-only satellite set-top box will need to upgrade to a High Definition (HD) satellite receiver, ITV explained.
The shut down of SD on satellite services on ITV will only affect Sky and Freesat viewers with dated boxes, The Sun reports.
"With all Sky customers being moved to HD boxes, this potentially affects a very small number of people - non-Sky customers with older SD-only set-top boxes (at most 1% of all satellite homes)," ITV said.

"There are no changes on Freeview and Virgin Media and satellite viewers with HD boxes are unaffected."
The upgrade to all-HD on satellite will bring "the best picture quality to all satellite viewers", the broadcaster added.
