POLICE have shared an image of a man they want to speak to after an incident saw a driver “palmed” in the face for playing music too loud.

The incident took place on Friday, September 20 when a man approached a stationary car in Turner Road, Colchester, to tell the driver to turn the volume down on his sound system.

The accused is then said to have leaned into the vehicle and tried to take the set of keys from the ignition, before striking the driver in the face.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “It was reported that a man was sitting in his car at the road works in Turner Road, Colchester, at around 8.15pm on Friday September 20 when a man approached his car telling the driver to turn his music down.

“He then leaned in and tried to take the car keys before 'palming' the man’s face.

“If you know who the man is or have any information that could help us, then please get in contact with us.”
