Ghost of the Toll Point Light, presented by Common Ground Theatre Co., will run on Tuesday and Wednesday at Headgate Theatre.

Set in 1900, the play follows young Jack Grimes, who arrives at Toll Point Light to assist Isaac Troop, the lighthouse keeper with 20 years in the role. This old-fashioned ghost story dives into themes of isolation, the supernatural, and the reasons people seek seclusion in such desolate places.

Starts at 7.45pm. Tickets are £15.

On Thursday, Hooky Loops returns to Roots & Grooves for an electronic jam night. This event brings together artists for live performances featuring drum loops, DJ sets, and instrument/vocal looping. Expect spontaneous musical collaborations and experimentation.

Starts at 8pm. Free Entry.

After two years of living and performing in London, singer/songwriter Will Foley headlines a hometown show at Three Wise Monkeys on Friday, joined by some of his favourite acts: Ady Johnson, Lauryn Dobinson, and Dean Frost. The night will celebrate some of Colchester's finest acoustic music.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8.
