AN artist based in Harwich has been given the chance to design the matchday programme for one of Ipswich Town FC's Premier League games this season.
Catalina Carvajal is originally from Colombia but has lived in East Anglia for seven years now.
Her studio is in Harwich, but her Colombian roots still have a big influence on her work, giving it a colourful and vibrant feel.
Catalina designed the cover for the match programme for Ipswich’s next home game against Everton on Saturday, October 19.
She said: “It gives me a feeling of belonging and it’s very exciting.
"When I was young I used to go to football games with my dad back in Colombia where I’m from.
“In Colombia we are very happy people, and this is engrained in my artwork - the joy and the colour.
“I love working with projects that are linked to Suffolk and I don’t think I have ever reached this kind of audience before.
“I usually picture some kind of animal. The Suffolk punch is such a beautiful animal, and I tried to take elements from the club's crest.
“It might not be the typical design, but it’s very colourful. It’s very exciting and a privilege for an artist to have this kind of exposure.”
Catalina was given the opportunity through ‘Call Me Ted’ - an independent project by Steve and Richard Haugh.
The project sees 19 artists being given the opportunity to design the match programme for each of Ipswich Town’s 19 home games in their first season back in the top flight of English football.
The design for the club's game against Everton is the fourth one to be completed and the club will be showcasing the design on their social media on October 8.
Catalina’s design could be seen by up to 30,000 people inside Portman Road, when the Tractor Boys fourth home game of the season kicks off.
