AN Indian takeaway and restaurant is hoping to win big at today's prestigious Curry Life Awards.

Kelvedon Spice, in Kelvedon High Street, opened just a year and a half ago, and is thrilled by the news of the nomination.

It is now in the running for Best Restaurant in Essex 2024 with the winner being announced tonight.

The Curry Life Awards honour exceptional chefs, takeaways, and restaurants that have made their mark in the culinary sector.

Imran Ahmed, the owner of Kelvedon Spice, is “thrilled” and extends his “heartfelt gratitude” to the Kelvedon community and neighbouring areas for their steadfast support, which has made this milestone possible in such a short time.
