There will be restrictions and closures at Colchester Zoo until early November to make way for a forthcoming annual tradition.
Colchester Zoo, in Maldon Road, Stanway, has announced its Bears of the Rising Sun lower viewing section has restricted access until November 3.
The Elephant Bushwalk pathway is also closed until then.
The zoo’s Woodland Hollow walkway will also temporarily close from today.
According to the Colchester Zoo website, this is to allow the organisation to prepare for its forthcoming Halloween events.
