A COLCHESTER swim school is absolutely “thrilled” to have taken home a prestigious industry award.

Mini Swimming, a swim school in Colchester, has been awarded Swim School of the Year by its governing body, the Swim Teacher’s Association, last Friday.

The business, which provides high-quality swimming lessons in the city for children of all ages, was founded in February 2012.

At the time, it began with 23 swimmers, and now teaches nearly 3,000 children every week across six pools in Stanway, Lexden, Colchester County High School for Girls’ site, Chelmsford, Nayland, and Dunmow.
