Colchester's traditional Oyster Feast is set to return later this month.
The 2024 feast will be held at the Talbooth restaurant in Dedham, a change from its usual Town Hall venue due to ongoing structural work.
The event, first held in 1845, is a key part of Colchester's civic calendar, celebrating the city's history and community.
This year, the feast will feature magician Michael J. Fitch M.I.M.C., and music from guitarist Chris Allard, singer Rebecca Clemens, and Play Strings Academy.
There will also be a Mayor's Charity Auction to support the Mayor's chosen charities.
Colchester mayor Lesley Scott-Boutell said: "The Oyster Feast celebrates not just our city's rich history and vibrant community, but also the culinary treasure that is the Colchester oyster.
"We are particularly excited to offer a different kind of entertainment this year, featuring the magical talents of Michael J. Fitch M.I.M.C. and live performances, as well as a charity auction to support some of the causes that are close to my heart and that matter to our city.
"We look forward to welcoming our guests, raising a glass, and of course, enjoying Colchester's finest oysters."
