Colchester: Mimosa building new deli and bakery area

Mimosa, in The Crescent, Colchester Business Park, is currently building a deli and bakery.

Images show that two of its left-hand front windows have been boarded up with signs that say “new look”, “deli”, “bakery,” and “coming soon”.

Popular - Mimosa (Image: Newsquest)A spokesman for Mimosa, which is part of the Elysium Group, told the Gazette that customers will be able pop in and purchase baked goods like bread which is made straight on-site.

With building works taking place at the moment, a launch date has not been confirmed yet.

The 8,000sq ft venue caters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, whilst also having spaces available for private hire.

According to the Mimosa website, the chefs at the restaurant have designed dining menus which use the “best of local and seasonal produce for dishes from the land, sea, and garden.”
