A SECTION of the A12 is closed as emergency services are responding to a crash and traffic is building.
Essex Police is currently on the scene of a crash on the southbound A12 near Kelvedon.
The force was called to the area shortly before 7.55am.
An Essex Police spokesman has confirmed the road is now closed for the time being.
They said: “The road is going to be closed southbound while emergencies respond to and deal with this incident.
“Please avoid the area if you can.
“We’ll update you as soon as we are able to, thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Motorists should expect delays in the area.
