INCREDIBLE photos of nature including “fairytale like” mushrooms which flourish in the autumn have bene snapped by the Gazette camera club across Colchester and North Essex this week.

October is the month for foraging for mushrooms in Britian, with different species being found even before and after mid-October, with a sunny day two or three days after rainfall being recommended.

Meanwhile Jamie Bell captured fungi in Chalkney Woods near Earls Colne.
