A BUSY road in Colchester remains closed and is causing severe delays after an fuel spillage.
The A133 has been shut eastbound due to the issue on Clingoe Hill at the Essex University turn off.
According to Essex Travel News, the closure is expected to be in place "for most of the afternoon".

This is due to resurfacing works that are taking place.
The issue is continuing to cause severe delays in and around the Hythe and Greenstead areas, with it expected to worsen heading into rush hour.
Traffic is building in both directions towards Elmstead and onto Greenstead roundabout.
