A DOG has been rescued by firefighters after it became trapped under a concrete ledge earlier this afternoon.
Fire crews from Halstead were called to rescue a dog called Scruff on Queen Street in Sible Hedingham at 5.57pm.
They had managed to free the dog by 6.48pm.
Group manager Andy Message said: "Firefighters did a great job to free Scruff quickly. She was returned safely to her owners."
