A pumpkin patch in Colchester has seen a huge number of visitors this Halloween as it marks nine years in the city.

Located at Foxes Farm Produce on Halstead road, The Pumpkin Patch has been an annual event since 2015 and is run by farm staff.

The patch’s entrance is all dressed up with spooky decorations and countless pumpkins, as well as staff dressing up and handing out stickers to children.

A range of pumpkin displays and spooky photo points have been set up, like an American Truck, Fergie Tractor, and Bale Sofas.

A range of pumpkins and squashes can be picked from the farm’s field or from the many wooden crates dotted around the grounds.

Wheel barrows are available to use, for free, for loading up with pumpkins.

There are a handful of food trucks and hot drink stalls to the left of the patch entrance, offering seasonal treats, like pumpkin soup, and hot chocolate.

As well as day time visits, The Pumpkin Patch offers night-time slots, but this feature is unfortunately sold out for this year.
