Indaver Rivenhall Limited starts recruitment for the Energy-from-Waste (EfW) component of the Rivenhall Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) in Essex
Indaver is a leader in sustainable waste management, providing innovative, high-quality, and cost-efficient solutions. Using state-of-the-art technology, we are committed to providing a sustainable method of waste disposal whilst recovering valuable materials and generating renewable energy that transforms waste into a resource and contributes to a cleaner, greener future.
Located in Rivenhall, Essex, Indaver’s Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility is currently in its third year of construction and set to be operational in 2025.
The EfW component will treat up to 595,000 tonnes of residual (black bag) waste each year, converting it into energy that will power the equivalent of 60,000 homes. By diverting waste from landfills and turning it into renewable energy, we’re not only reducing environmental impact but also contributing to a sustainable future.
Thanks to multiple long-term contracts with both government and private organisations in Essex and neighbouring counties, Indaver offers stability, growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits for our expanding workforce.
Once operational, the Rivenhall EfW facility will create 65 full time jobs within the waste management and operational field. Recruitment for these roles is starting this autumn with applications for roles such as Maintenance Team Leader, Warehouse Technician and Waste Operations Team Lead already open.
