A SECOND man has been arrested in connection with an assault which left a taxi driver with a fractured skull.
It was reported the victim, a man in his 40s, had been found injured in Brinkley Grove Road, Colchester at around 1.50am on Saturday, November 2.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for a fractured skull and bleed on the brain, but fortunately, he has now been released home.
On Tuesday, a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent after attending Colchester Police Station.
He has been released on bail until January 23.
Another man was arrested over the weekend who has also since been released on bail until January 23.
