Freya Beer's new four-track EP Tatianna features singles like "Write Her Off (WHO)" and "Fantasy," inspired by a fictional femme fatale and exploring themes of dreams and fame.

Fresh from supporting punk poet legend and Colchester resident Dr John Cooper-Clarke, Freya headlines Three Wise Monkeys on Sunday, supported by Flores Blue and Hibiscus Haze.

Expect a crushing live set at Colchester Arts Centre on Tuesday, supported by Celestial Sanctuary and Slimelord.

Wednesday evening marks the start of Christmas in the city centre.

The Festive Light Parade returns, bringing dazzling, larger-than-life puppets to the High Street and ending at Firstsite.

Lion Walk's Courtyard has performances by Jupiter Ray, Yazmin Wood, and more, leading up to the big Christmas Lights Switch On at 7.30pm.

Expect street food, fun, live music, and a festive atmosphere.

Nottingham based looping artist, Warren Ireland, is at Coda on Thursday to celebrate the release of his album, The Highs and Lows of Being Normal.

Expect intricate guitar playing, dominating vocals and dexterous beatboxing. Support is from Sticky Bones and Daniel Stephen Turner.
