A MAN has been arrested after police officers were called by members of the public concerned about how a car was being driven.
Officers from Essex Police made attempts to stop a black Mercedes on Saturday morning.
It is understood members of the public phoned the police at about 9.45am to report concerns of the way a car was being driven in Chelmsford.
When officers attempted to pull over the car it failed to stop.
Officers eventually brought the car to a tactical stop in Marks Tey at 10.30am.
They subsequently arrested a man on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, and drink driving.
Police have said the individual remains in custody.
Anyone who has any dashcam footage of the incident or any information which may assist the police should contact them on 101 and quote incident 313 of November 9.
